Barry M. Wax
Attorney at Law

I have been practicing criminal defense law since 1985, and have appeared in State and Federal Courts throughout the country. As a dedicated criminal defense lawyer, I have defended a wide range of cases, with particular emphasis on complex criminal cases including fraud, economic crimes, conspiracy, and drug trafficking. In addition to criminal defense, I devote a portion of my practice to professional licensing, including the defense of Florida Bar complaints and litigation before various professional licensing agencies under the umbrella of the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. I am a past President of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers - Miami Chapter, and was just elected to a 5th term as a Director at Large for the statewide Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. I was also the chairperson for FACDL's annual Death is Different Seminar, which provides training for death penalty defense attorneys, as mandated by the Florida Supreme Court. A graduate of Florida State University and the University of Miami School of Law, I am married to Amy for 29 wonderful years and am the father to Samantha (a UF graduate!), Danny (an FSU graduate!), and Dylan (a high school junior).
I'm always ready to fight for what's right.
